March 30 - April 3

Happy last few days of March and Happy short school week!

REMEMBER Friday there is no school for Good Friday!

Our FIELD TRIP is Wednesday! Please pack your child a sack lunch and make sure they wear their green Hunters Creek spirit shirt to school!

Even though it is a short week we WILL have spelling. The test will be THURSDAY! :)

Here's a look into what we are learning this week:

Writing -  We will create a writing through Writer's Workshop! We will look at adverbs and locate them in our writing.

Reading - We will use short poems and books to identify how rhyme, rhythm and repetition create images in poetry.

Math - We will learn about fractions and describe how equal parts are related to a whole.

Science - We will learn about life cycles.

Social Studies - We will identify natural resources and learn about the development of products from a natural resource to a finished product. We will talk about goods and services as well as consuming and producing.
