Here’s what we are learning this week…
Reading: Readers find author’s purpose in familiar texts! They also
understand that theme is one or two words that describe the big idea of the
book.
Writing: We will continue our Argumentative/Review unit!
Math: We will learn subtraction with regrouping.
Social Studies: We will begin our geography unit with a study on
landforms and landmarks. In this part of the unit, students will discuss
different types of landforms and identify local, state, and national landmarks.
Science: We will continue to learn about the different types of
energy!
